# v3.4.15 Beta Release

Instructions for getting setup with the new beta release and how to test

### 👋 Welcome!

Thank you for helping us test the newest PixelAir firmware and Mobile App. This release introduces a few brand-new tools designed to make beta testing easier — better diagnostics, a direct line to our team, and a fast way to report anything that looks off. 

Please read the quick intro below before you start testing!

### 🔐 User Login

First: create an account. Press the ⚙️ icon in the top right of the Home Screen to navigate to the Settings page, locate the Account section and press Create Account.

Why we're introducing it:

* Better diagnostics. When you're logged in, your device logs are tied to your account, so when you report an issue we can find exactly what happened — dramatically faster troubleshooting.
* Required for what's coming. Several upcoming features will need a logged-in account, so this is the first step in that foundation.
* It powers the beta tools below. In-app chat is only available while you're logged in.

Turning it on takes a few seconds and you can toggle it off anytime.

### 📇 Register Your Devices

Once you're logged in, please register each of your devices to your account. Registering links a device's logs and settings to you, so our team can diagnose issues quickly and your devices are ready for upcoming account-based features.

Do this for every device you own:

1. Make sure you're signed in.
2. From your device list on the Home Screen, press the 🔧 icon to navigate to the Device Settings screen.
3. Scroll down to the Account section.
4. Tap "Register device to my account."
5. You'll see a confirmation that the device is now registered to your account.

Repeat these steps for each of your devices. If a device is already linked, the Account section will show "This device is registered to your account."

### 💬 In-App Chat

Have a question or a piece of feedback? Use the new in-app chat to talk to us directly — no email, no forum, no waiting. It's the fastest way to ask "is this normal?" or share what you love *(and what you don't)*.

### 🐞 Report a Bug

Found something broken or strange? Use Report a Bug to send it straight to our team. You can:

* Describe what happened in your own words, and
* Attach photos so we can see exactly what you're seeing.

The more detail *(and pictures)* you include, the faster we can fix it. Bug reports are one of the most valuable things you can send us during the beta.
