# USB Cable

This page describes the process of updating your firmware via USB cable using the Web Flasher. This is a last resort and should only be used if In-App Update and Recovery Mode were unsuccessful.

Flashing your device will **DELETE ALL STORAGE**, including WiFi credentials. After updating firmware via this method, you will need to go through the [WiFi setup](/setup/wifi-setup.md) process again in order to reconnect your device.
