# Wave Gesture

This page describes the Monos feature to turn on/off the device by waving hand over top surface.

Currently Monos ships to customers with the Wave Gesture feature **DISABLED** by default. You may need to enable it in Device Settings.

Monos is equipped with an Infrared sensor that allows you to turn the product on and off with a wave of your hand. 

Toggle this feature On/Off in the Device Settings screen.
