# Privacy Policy

**Last updated:** July 30, 2026\
**Company:** Color and Light Inc. (“Fluora,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)\
**Contact:** <support@fluoraplant.com>\
**Address:** Color and Light Inc., 201 Athol Avenue, #401, Oakland, CA 94606, United States

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Fluora mobile app, visit fluoraplant.com, or use related Fluora services (including our firmware and account systems).

***

### 1. Fluora Mobile App

#### Permissions used to set up your device

The Fluora Mobile App may request:

* **Location (or local network) access** — used only to help commission your Fluora device onto your Wi‑Fi network (for example, discovering nearby networks or satisfying OS requirements for Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth setup). We do not use this permission to track your physical location for advertising.
* **Bluetooth / BLE** — used to assist connecting your Fluora device to your Wi‑Fi network during setup.
* **Microphone** (if enabled for optional features) — used for on-device or in-app voice features you choose to use. Device audio visualization on the Fluora hardware itself is processed locally on the device and is not uploaded as a recording for advertising.

These permissions are for product functionality. You can deny or revoke them in your device settings; some setup or features may not work without them.

#### Fluora account (sign-in / registration)

You may create or sign in to a Fluora account in the app using:

* **Email and password**, or
* **Google Sign-In**

If you create an account or sign in, we collect and store account information such as:

* Email address
* Name (first and last)
* Authentication credentials (passwords are stored hashed; we do not store your Google password)
* Account role / program flags (for example, whether you are enrolled in a beta program)
* Approximate account activity related to sign-in (for security and support)

**Purpose:** to provide your account, sync account-related features (such as beta enrollment), secure access, provide customer support, and operate the service.

**Google Sign-In:** If you choose “Continue with Google,” Google authenticates you and shares with us basic profile information needed to create or link your Fluora account (typically email, name, and a Google account identifier). Google’s use of your data is governed by Google’s privacy policy.

You can sign out in the app. To request account deletion or correction, contact us at <support@fluoraplant.com>.

#### Device identifiers and anonymous / aggregated metrics

To operate, improve, and debug the app and connected products, we may collect:

* **Device / installation identifiers** generated on your phone (for example, a device-unique ID used for support and diagnostics). These are not your name or email by themselves.
* **App and device technical data**, such as app version, OS/platform, crash logs, performance timings, and feature usage diagnostics.
* **Product/device metadata** you connect in the app (for example, device serial, model, firmware version, and connection state) when needed for syncing, updates, support, or diagnostics.

We use tools such as **Sentry** for crash reporting, performance monitoring, and related diagnostics. Where feasible, we treat diagnostic metrics as **anonymous or pseudonymous** (not used to advertise to you). If you are signed in or submit a bug report, diagnostics may be linked to your account or the device ID you share so we can help you.

**We do not sell your personal information.**

#### Optional beta program

If you join a Fluora beta program, we may associate your account with beta eligibility and use that to provide pre-release app or firmware experiences and related communications/support.

### 2. Fluora devices and our servers

Fluora devices may communicate with Fluora-operated servers (for example, for firmware update checks, device verification, or cloud-assisted features you use). That communication can include technical information such as device serial, model, firmware version, and update-related status.

On-device microphone audio used for light visualization is processed locally on the device hardware and is not recorded or uploaded by Fluora for advertising.
