## Current Release *(v3.1.6)*

**Release Date:** July 10, 2026\
**Models:** Fluora Floor, Fluora Mini, Monos

### Summary:

* **Improved Reliability:** Tons of improvements to bugs and edge cases to make the experience more robust. 
* **Faster Connections:** We redesigned how Fluora handles Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It now connects to your network in seconds and holds onto that connection much more reliably. 
* **New Animations:** Explore 5 new animations: Breeze, Shockwave, Lighthouse, EQ Pitch, and Dots EQ.
* **New Scene UI:** Easier to use UI screen for scenes, more straightforward scheduling and control.
* **Improved Scheduler:** We re-built the scheduler from the ground up. You can now select Time Zone and Day of Week.
* **Re-Vamped Audio Engine:** Audio animations should appear more crisp and have a higher resolution
* **Streamlined Experience:** Transitions between animations are now more smooth, and color resolution, especially at low brightness has been improved
* **OTA Firmware Update Improvements:** Updating your Fluora with the mobile app has been massively improved and now shows a progress bar. 
* **Seasonal Content Controls:** you can now exclude seasonal content from your animation list by toggling them in your device settings

* **Connectivity / Bluetooth**
  * Improved BLE “Connection Failed” Reporting
  * Improvements to WiFi reconnection logic
  * WiFi now uses a faster connection method
  * Recovery Mode no longer drops you into Pairing Mode after use, it goes back to normal
* **Animations**
  * New Animation: Shockwave
    * Displays constructive and destructive interference as flame-like waving patterns
  * New Animation: EQ Pitch
    * On Monos, this uses the bottom 16 FFT bands wrapped around the display horizontally, making pitch bends like vibrato wiggle these bands up and down
  * New Animation: Lighthouse
    * Size: beam width
    * Speed: rotation speed
    * Twist: optional twist to the image
  * New Animation: Breeze 
    * Can replicate both a fluttering leaf and a candle
    * 17 "candles" on a Fluora Floor: size=0.3, speed=0.3, color=0.0, hue=orange
  * New Animation: Dots EQ
    * An audio reactive mode with constant light output, relying on motion instead of proportion to show magnitudes
  * Spotlight Animation is now called Beam
  * Improvements to LeafEQ and CubeEQ performance
  * Fixed white balance on Lamp animation
  * Mirage animation improvements
    * Is now more immediately active, does not take as much time to start up
    * Now has a \`color\` slider which can be set to 0 to force Mirage to follow your current palette instead of being randomized
    * Now has 1/3 less particles on Monos now to avoid washing out
  * Pulse maxes out 1.5x faster
  * Sweep animation Improvements
    * Added color slider
    * Larger max size
* **LED Engine**
  * Better low-brightness color resolution
  * Better animation transitions
  * Improvements to Monos welcome animation
  * Reduced many default speeds to a more tranquil value without being too static
  * Improved color rendition, smoother fades/gradients
  * Added ability to exclude seasonal content from the animation listed
* **OTA**
  * OTA updates now show a progress bar
  * Better logic around triggering the OTA using the app
