Connectivity
There are various issues that can happen with the connectivity of a Fluora device. If you are having issues, please first check if your Device Firmware and Fluora Mobile app are updated to the latest version on the Firmware Updates page.
If you are updated to the latest version and are still having issues, see below.
1. Device Says "Offline" on home screen, or Device is connected to my WiFi, but I can’t see it in the app
Please confirm your phone is connected to the exact same WiFi as your Device.
Please power cycle your Device (unplug and replug into the wall) and then try closing out of your Fluora app completely, and re-open it, and wait for 30 seconds for it to connect. You can do this anytime after your Device has been online and you open the app and the app can't find the Device. Here's how to close an app on your phone:
Ensure the right permissions are enabled on your Phone
If you are using an iPhone:
Confirm Local Network Permissions is present and enabled in the iOS settings app under Device. Confirm all other permissions are enabled (green checked)
If you are using an Android:
Hold down on the Device App Icon, a toolbar should appear
Press "App Info"
Navigate into "Permissions"
Check to see if there are any permissions listed under "DENIED"
If there are, please allow all of them
Try going through the WiFi commissioning Steps again:
1. Go into your Bluetooth settings of your phone, and forget all Fluora devices
2. Power cycle any Fluora devices you have (unplug and replug into wall)
3. Put your device in pairing mode by holding down the function button for 6 seconds until the device flashes blue
4. Go into the app and press "discover devices"
5. Put in your WiFi credentials
6. After the device flashes green and says connected, please wait up to 30 seconds for it to show up in the app
