Refunds and Warranty
Summary
Any Fluora can be returned within 60 days of the delivery date without any restocking fees. Customers will receive the original cost of the product as a refund. Shipping fees already paid are non-refundable.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at [email protected]. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Once the product(s) are received and processed, you will receive a refund equivalent to the original price paid for the product, minus shipping costs, minus the cost of any broken or damaged hardware.
If a return is requested after the 60 day window, a 30% restocking fee will apply.
Please note this does not apply to products purchased through Indiegogo or other crowdfunding websites or during the Fluora Mini pre-sale (before 8/15/23).
Terms
Products must be returned in their original packaging and received in like-new condition.
Damaged items will not be accepted, or the cost of the damaged items will be subtracted from the amount the customer received in return
Products shipped outside the contiguous United States are not returnable.

Warnings
Fluora is not designed for use in:
Outdoor areas.
Enclosed locations that limit the flow of air and/or trap excessive amounts of heat.
In conjunction with 3rd party sensors/timing devices.
Wet or damp conditions.
Excessively hot environments (e.g. close to ovens, radiators, heaters, etc.)
Regions or countries other than those in which the product was intended for (USA & Canada).
When using Fluora:
Do not open the leaves, stems, or pot, as this will void the warranty.
Do not allow small children to operate this device unsupervised. (This device contains small parts that may be a choking hazard to small children)
Do not clean the device when it is on and or connected to power.
Clean the leaves with a soft dry cloth, do not use cleaning agents.
Do not attach the leaves together with anything other than the Fluora stems.
Do not mount Fluora to any wall or ceiling.
DO NOT WATER THE PLANT!
Limited Warranty
Color and Light Inc (“Color+Light”) warrants Fluora (the “Product”) and only the product, against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 365 DAYS from the date of delivery to the original purchaser (“Warranty Period”). Under this Limited Warranty, if a defect arrives and a valid claim is received by Color and Light Inc within the Warranty Period, at its option and to the extent permitted by law, Color+Light will either: 1. Repair the Product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts or 2. Exchange the Product with a new or refurbished Product.
In the event of a defect, to the extent permitted by law, these are your sole and exclusive remedies. This Limited Warranty applies only to the Product manufactured by Color+Light that can be identified by the Fluora trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to it. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any (a) Color+Light products and services other than the Product, (b) non-Fluora hardware product, (c) consumables (such as batteries), or (d) software, even if packaged or sold with the Product or embedded in the Product. Color+Light does not warrant that the operation of the Product will meet your needs or requirements or be uninterrupted or error free.
Shipping costs for replacement parts will be covered by Color+Light for the first 30 DAYS from the date of delivery. After 30 DAYS, the customer will be responsible for shipping costs of replacement parts or hardware.
Exclusions and Limitations
Color+Light is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the Product‘s use or from failures resulting from inadequate electrical supply or internet access. This warranty does not apply to a Product or part of the Product that has been altered or modified (e.g. to alter functionality or capability) by anyone who is not a representative of Color+Light or if the Product is inserted or installed in a casing not provided by Color+Light.
In addition, this Limited Warranty does not apply to Defects or damage caused by (a) use with non-Fluora products; (b) accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes or abnormal conditions; (c) operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses or conditions described by Color+Light or with improper voltage or power supply; (d) service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of Color+Light; (e) usage of the product outdoors or in rain or snow. Recovery and reinstallation of software programs and user data are not covered under this Limited Warranty.
This Limited Warranty does not cover the cost of returning the Product to Color+Light. No Fluora reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this Limited Warranty. If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected or impaired.
Limitation of Damages
EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, COLOR+LIGHT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY USE OF THE PRODUCT OR BREACH OF EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. COLOR+LIGHT’S LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY USE OF THE PRODUCT OR BREACH OF EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE ORIGINAL COST PAID FOR OF THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
